Dancing in the Street… is a short documentary film centred on a hidden cultural gem; a living, breathing folk dance. The scene is the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, ostensibly a part of Spain but with it’s own distinct language and culture.

With a brief nod to the dance’s historical roots, the film focuses on the current state of the dance, it’s revival and growing popularity, a story told through the words of it’s protagonists, its dancers, teachers and musicians.

Filming is due to begin in March 2012.
